VCRED Agents
Detailed description of our agents
Perp Agent
This agent executes long/short using a set of strategies that combine momentum and volatility. During each accounting period, the agent uses a fraction of the pool allocated to open short/long positions on the target asset at each epoch based on the strategy and parameters set by the AI engine for the given market conditions.
Risk
Momentum strategies can break under sudden trend reversals. Forward testing is not yet completed for different scenarios. Due to incomplete risk analysis, a smaller fraction of the pool is allocated as part of the reserve ratio.
Volatility Requirement
Higher volatility and potentially illiquid markets benefit this agent. But it also provides rewards in periods of mid-volatility as well.
Strategy Reward
This agent generates higher rewards infrequently and smoothes out over longer accounting periods.
